My story (cliff-notes version): I’m one of those people that’s been going to church since I was in the womb.  My dad was a pastor, so from a very young age, I have been hearing the truths of God’s word.  I came to faith in Christ at the age of four.  Did I know every theological term or have a vast knowledge of the Bible?  No, but I did understand that I was a sinner and that I needed Jesus Christ’s death on the cross to pay for the punishment I rightly deserved.  Since that time, I’ve continued to grow in my understanding of who Jesus is and how he’s called me to live in response to his work for me!

By my Sophomore year in high school I began feeling God’s call to go into youth ministry.  It was this call that led me to pursue further education from Grace College.  While at Grace, I was also blessed to meet my lovely wife Isabel.  And believe me when I tell you, I do not deserve this gift that God has given me.  Isabel and I graduated in May of 2006 and were married one month later.  After graduating college and getting married, we moved to Greenville where I took over as “Pastor of Youth.”  We have been serving here now for almost 5 years and I oversee all of our Children and youth ministries.  It has been such a joy to be a part of a body of believers that loves Jesus Christ and want’s to see his name magnified in our lives and in our local community.

We’ve also been privileged to have three wonderful children:  Audrey (in 2007), Jackson (in 2008), and Micah (in 2010).  My hope is that one day I could say like the apostle John that  “I have no greater joy than this, to hear of my children walking in the truth.” (3 John 1:4)
