Tim and Evelyn Wolfe Medical/Dental ministries in the Dominican Republic
Tim and Evelyn are serving with the Medical/Dental ministries in the Dominican Republic.
They were married in 1975 and have a son living in Ashland, Ohio and a daughter in Westerville, Ohio. They currently have six grandchildren. They attended church most of their lives but did not give their lives to Christ until their late 20's. Since that time they have participated in numerous short-term mission projects until being accepted as full-time missionaries with SCORE in April of 2006.
While in government service, Tim and Evelyn moved frequently across the country completing various leadership roles dealing with people and funds in service to the Air Force. Each move meant being involved with a new church and Tim was involved on several occasion starting new AWANA clubs and serving on mission committees. Evelyn worked for many years as a respiratory therapist at a childrens hospital and worked in doctor's offices in several locations. She also took leadership roles in AWANA clubs over the years.
After 24 years of government service, Tim retired at the age of 52 and the couple immediately began with a 2-month mission service in Brazil. That started a series of trips until God called Tim and Evelyn to commit to full time missions in 2005. Tim and Evelyn consented to the Lord's call to a new career as full-time missionaries with SCORE in 2006. After selling their home in Florida they went to Costa Rica for 10 months of Spanish language training and then to the Dominican Republic to serve with medical ministries. Time and Evelyn work along side Bob & Anna Nilsen to host medical teams that come each week to the Dominican Republic.
