Freedom – A study from the Book of Galatians
The gospel is not simply a message people need to hear to become saved, the gospel is the message for those who enjoy walking in the freedom of salvation. This freedom is for every person who repents of their sin and trusts in Jesus’ life, death and resurrection alone for their forgiveness of sins. But the message doesn’t end with forgiveness! God then makes His people who will delight in the perfect restoration of His Creation so that He receives maximum glory. Keeping these two truths in mind, our personal forgiveness of sins, and the perfect freedom God is ultimately bringing, keeps us from turning to other messages that promise freedom, but only create greater slavery.
